就欧洲而言，VAST 2.0 是迄今为止使用最广泛的格式。也使用了 VAST 3.0，但各方都在询问究竟支持什么（并非所有 VAST 3.0 功能都需要最低合规性）。

VAST 4.0 尚未使用，不仅在播放器/解析器端，而且在广告服务器端都需要更新。该标准明确提到了从 2.0 到 4.0 的升级路径，我猜很多人会选择这个选项。
